COVID-19 Home Fire Safety Checklist

As we are all spending more time at home, there may be an increased risk of fire.

If you, or someone you know is a smoker over 50 years old (who live alone, have long term health or mobility problems or use medical oxygen) please use the contact number below for advice on what to do next.

Otherwise, use this checklist to help keep you and others safe during these challenging times. Once done, you can call the Fire Service with any queries – they are here to help keep you safe.

Suicide awareness events in Angus

World Suicide Prevention Day is held annually on September 10. The initiative started in 2003 and its main aims are to

  • raise awareness that suicide is preventable,
  • improve education about suicide,
  • spread information about suicide awareness and
  • decrease stigmatization of suicide.

Thursday 13 September 2018, 1pm-5pm           Venue: Room A, Bruce House, Arbroath

This training is open to everyone who lives or works in Angus and is an introductory course for anyone interested in learning to be suicide-aware.
